May 2011

Congratulations!  You’ve almost arrived. Registration is open and ready for you.  Please use the registration code provided on your postcard and follow the instructions located on the back of the card.

Note: The “Frequently Asked Questions” tab is new and will help answer any basics.

April 2011

• It’s almost time! Registration for Cabo San Lucas will be open May 1-July 31. Soon, your sales staff will present you with a “You’re a Winner!” card that allows you to register. The card will include a reminder to have the information you need handy as you register (passports, credit card, guest information, t-shirt sizes, etc…) Registration will take you about 20-30 minutes.
• In the event you are “buying in” to attend this trip, one of our staff will be in contact on how to proceed.
• We’ve been watching the United Stated Travel Advisory site closely and would be notified it there were any concerns about Cabo San Lucas as a destination. There has not been. Our travel agency just arrived back from a trip to Cabo San Lucas and their group felt comfortable and safe the entire trip. Again, we will just remember to be smart, conscientious travelers.
• Recently, we’ve had a few customers ask us how to plan for their meals, etc. This is a terrific opportunity to remind our guests that we will be feeding you often. Your first and last night, a lovely dinner and cocktails will be provided. At your cocktail party, there will be heavy appetizers and cocktails. Breakfast will be served daily. That means, you will want to provide for your lunch each day and dinner two nights. There are two upscale restaurants at the hotel with a full menu and three additional bar/grills with lighter fare. Also, please remember that one of the selection criteria for us was the hotel’s central location between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. These are both wonderful towns that you will want to spend time in- Dining and Drink options abound.
• At the hotel itself, you have access to 5 pools, the gym and the spa. Wireless computer access will be available to all of our guests, yet, we do hope you will stop working long enough to completely relax your mind and spirit. We will have a staff available for you to book excursions, golf, tennis, fishing, shopping, whale watching, etc… You will also be able to do all of that from the website if you choose.
• As a last reminder, we have secured our guests that would like to stay additional time a room rate of $140 USDs per night. This was quite a coo for us so we hope that those of you that have the time, can use this option.
• We grow more excited each day. We hope you do too!

January 2011

• Can you believe it, it’s here! Happy 2011! You, our loyal customers and honored guests are 2/3 of the way through the program. July 31, 2011 is the end of our purchasing period and we will be announcing our guest list the day after. We’ve gotten ahead of the curve this year with flights and are excited to announce that most of you will be on the beach by early afternoon. For that reason, we’ve moved our Opening Celebration to 6:00p.m. on Saturday, October 01, 2011. Now, if you’ve traveled with us before, you know our Opening Celebration is a point of honor for us. This trip will be no different. We are busy as a sales force finding ways to commemorate you and your accomplishment!
• Registration for known guests will begin this Spring. We are pleased that you will be able to do that from this web site. The Registration and Release tabs will be opened at that point and you will be instructed how to proceed.
• We do want to begin to talk about safety from the get-go because Mexico has been in the news of late. First off, we are going to Cabo and tourist destinations have not been in the news as much because they are particularly well patrolled and protected. But, we will be safe and mindful travelers nonetheless. We will ;
  • move in groups,
  • use taxis and buses,
  • stay in a gated community,
  • won’t be flashy with possessions or purchases,
  • use approved vendors,
  • be careful that as individuals we are always in control of ourselves,
  • and stay current of all travel advisories and communications
• Keep an eye out for our new Safe Travel tab where we will be posting articles to help you plan.
• We do want to note an additional benefit for our early planners. Fiesta Americana Grand Golf and Spa resort is a four-star property with many amenities and luxuries. If, you and your travel companion would like to stay additional time, we have negotiated up to two additional nights at a reduced rate for you. For any of our travelers that are thinking about this option, please let us know as soon as possible.
• And remember, if you are a golfer, this property ranked #9 on Golf Digest Magazine's list of the "Top 50 Golf Hotels in the World."
• In closing, we want to again thank you for your business, for hangin’ with us during the tough times and we hope October 2011 is a celebration of watching our industry return. Please plan on being with us.

Fall 2010

• If you are new to our trips, you are in for a terrific time; some fun, some learning, lots of networking and partnering, and great relationship-building. We have three large group events and one regional event. Regional events are smaller cocktail parties where you can meet and greet with industry colleagues and Wagner staff.  We publish those times for you early so you are able to schedule your free time as you like.  We have also hosted a small event before travel to answer any additional questions you may have. We will publish those dates as they are scheduled.

Changes in store:

• We are partnering with a new travel agency, All About Travel.  They will be the resource for those of you who like to stay a night or two extra. We have been able to secure those extra night prices at our costs, so please think about this early if it is an option you’d like to consider.
• A hearty breakfast will be provided daily and we will feed you (well!) at two dinner events.  We did not plan for other meals because we assumed many of you will be out seeing the sites and visiting the villages.
• Fiesta Americana Grand Golf and Spa Resort is located between Cabo San Lucas and and San Jose del Cabo.  Both communities are within easy reach of the hotel and offer diverse experiences.

Tasks:

• It is not too early to apply for or renew your passport. Customs authorities prefer you passport is not going to expire within 6 months of travel.
• You will be able to book excursions and golf from this site and we will update you when that option is available. You will also be able to book excursions with our travel staff at the hotel .
